The ten-year structural warranty
Every Larvale corten piece — planters, edging, and corten address pieces — carries a ten-year structural warranty from the date of delivery.
What it covers
- Structural failure of the steel: splitting, cracking, weld separation, or perforation (rusting through) under normal residential use.
- Failure of drainage or reinforcement as built: cross-braces, false bottoms, welded feet.
- Deformation beyond specification under stated soil loads — a Larvale face that ripples or bows in normal planted use is a warranty case, not a characteristic.
What it does not cover
- Surface patina: colour, pattern and rate of weathering vary with climate and exposure. That variation is the material, not a fault — see the Patina Guide.
- Patina run-off staining on surrounding surfaces during the first weeks of weathering (see the guide for how to manage it).
- Damage from impact, vehicles, modification, coastal salt-spray immersion, or use as a fire feature.
- Stocked satellite products (house numbers, rain chains), which carry a two-year defect warranty instead.
Making a claim
Email us photographs of the piece and your order number. Warranty claims are resolved by repair, replacement or refund at our choice, and we cover shipping on approved claims. The warranty applies to the original purchaser at the original delivery address.
